To build public giving partnerships that effectively connect donors with nonprofit organizations and community projects, such as those supported by the Eastside Area Community Foundation and the Eastside Foundation, to produce a brighter future for the people and communities of Eastern DeKalb County, Indiana.
The Eastside Area Community Foundation, also known as the Eastside Foundation, is led by a Board of Directors made up of members from the DeKalb Eastern community, including representatives from Butler. We hold quarterly Board meetings in January, April, June, and October.
Since 1983, the Eastside Area Community Foundation, also known as the Eastside Foundation, has been dedicated to serving the people of Eastern DeKalb County, including the Butler community.

Becoming a member of the Eastside Area Community Foundation offers you the chance to help connect donors with nonprofit organizations and community projects, enhancing the quality of life for residents in eastern DeKalb County. The membership fee is a one-time $50.00 donation to the Eastside Foundation. To join, simply mail a check along with your membership application to the Foundation.
Donations made to the general fund are utilized to support grants and organizations within the DeKalb Eastern school district, including initiatives from the Butler and Eastside Area Community Foundation. Please complete the pledge card and mail it along with a check to the Eastside Foundation.

Named scholarships can be established through the Eastside Area Community Foundation to ensure that graduates of Eastside High School receive financial assistance in furthering their education.
